The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards
“Neds” “Hoodies” “Lazy” too often we hear negative comments about young people. The annual Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards aims to challenge these perceptions, champion their achievements and create a fairer representation of them in society and the media.
55% of the Scottish population read, listened and watched the positive stories of young people.
As Scotland’s biggest celebration of young people, the event attracts an array of high-profile supports. From the likes of Olly Murs, Twin Atlantic, Coronation Street and Waterloo Road actors, to Alesha Dixon and Judy Murray – the night is an unforgettable experience as young people take centre stage and get the recognition they truly deserve.
The twelfth Young Scot Awards was another incredible year for celebrating and applauding the outstanding achievements of Scotland’s young people! Taking place at the Clyde Auditorium, from stars of the silver screen to helping those in need, the Young Scot Awards winners have inspired us all.
