Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards

The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards

Since 2005, the annual Sunday Mail Youn Scot Awards have been shining a light on the amazing things young people in Scotland are doing every single day.

The Awards are Scotland's biggest national celebration of young people. Thanks to our partnership with the Sunday Mail and the support of so many sponsors, nominators, nominees and the media the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards show the truth about Scotland's Youth.

“Neds” “Hoodies” “Lazy”  too often we hear negative comments about young people. The annual Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards aims to challenge these perceptions, champion their achievements and create a fairer representation of them in society and the media.

Thanks to the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards 55% of the Scottish population read, listened and watched the positive stories of young people.

As Scotland’s biggest celebration of young people, the event attracts an array of high-profile supports.  From the likes of Olly Murs, Twin Atlantic, Coronation Street, Still Game and Waterloo Road actors, to Alesha Dixon and Judy Murray – the night is an unforgettable experience as young people take centre stage and get the recognition they truly deserve.
