Young Scot Festive Message
Here at Young Scot we love the festive season! From tinsel to reindeers, mistletoe to winter markets, we just love the whole season. Over the years we have been lucky enough to work with some brilliant young creatives who have come up with three amazing Christmas messages celebrating the values of Young Scot whilst looking back at some of the incredible work we have been involved in down the years. So full of sparkle cheer, here is the ghost of Christmas past giving us all another chance to revisit Young Scot’s Christmas messages of yesteryear.
Poetry in motion – 2016
In 2016 Young Scot has released its annual festive message starring young people from across Scotland and Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon. The poem written by rising young Scottish talent, Ellen Renton, urges people across the country to look forward to the future after a challenging 2016 and focuses on Scotland being a welcoming nation this festive season.
Minecraft – 2015
Cast your mind back to 2015 when we joined our intrepid young traveller on a quest to collect and redeem Young Scot’s fantastic reward points. Armed with his Young Scot card, he battles through a wonderfully festive Minecraft landscape to claim his reward points queuing fireworks and yuletide celebrations.

First Minister -2016
2014’s Christmas message witnessed fantastic acting from both our group of young people and Scotland’s’ First Minister as they replicate the renowned card scene from the movie, Love Actually.
Here the message is simple; the best thing a young person can receive at Christmas is to know that they are loved.
Lego – 2013
In a wonderful video by Morgan Spence, 2013’s Christmas message saw Young Scots office turned into Santa’s Lego workshop as Santa Clause and his helpers got a hand from some very familiar Young Scot characters.
