NHS Health Scotland
Young Scot has worked in partnership with NHS Health Scotland for a number of years to help us provide reliable and relevant health information to help improve the life chances of young people in Scotland.
Our partnership with NHS Scotland is vital as it ensure our services are products are fully fit for purpose and provide young people with trusted information.
Below are some examples of the work we're carrying out:
- A dynamic and well used web based health information service for young people on www.youngscot.org
- A well supported and active group of young people to take forward a range of activity to improve relevance, tone and acceptability of health information products - the Young People's Health Panel
- Up to date and relevant 'health and relationships' sections of the Young Scot Information Handbook which is distributed to schools across Scotland
- Work with the statutory and voluntary sectors to promote and raise awareness of the health information service for young people
- Health & wellbeing outreach sessions delivered on an ongoing basis to young people throughout Scotland
- Supporting the capacity of Health Boards, Community Planning Partnerships and voluntary sector to work with young people
