Low Carbon Scotland: Young People's Consultation
As part of the Low Carbon Scotland Public Engagement Strategy, Young Scot was approached by the Scottish Government to deliver a consultation with young people, seeking their views on the strategy and gaining an understanding of what young people in Scotland think about the issue of climate change.
More specifically, the consultation explored the areas of action laid out in the Public Engagement Strategy (home energy, travel, food & consumption), gave young people the opportunity to share their experiences and express their views on climate change more generally, and enabled young people’s experiences and views to help shape the future development of how climate change targets are met.
Read the report below to find out more on the young people’s findings and recommendations.
