Launched in January 2009, Scotland in Focus was a joint project between Young Scot and The Wrigley Company. The project encouraged young people to feel proud of their local town by taking action and regenerating areas which are letting them down. We asked young people, aged 11 – 26, to ‘snap and send’ pictures of their local area of places that they wanted to change. Young Scot has awarded the final grants as part of the Scotland In Focus initiative, a partnership with the Wrigley Company. We received a high number of applications for funding and the final grants have now been awarded. These went to the G15 Youth project in Drumchapel, the A7 Underpass project in Midlothian and community centre back garden project in Edinburgh.
