Dialogue Youth is a joint project between young people, Young Scot, COSLA, the Scottish Government, Local Authorities and their community planning partners. It is a dynamic, modern initiative that gives young people a real chance to engage, inform and influence those organisations that provide services. Every local authority area in Scotland has established a Dialogue Youth initiative who as well as supporting young people in influencing services through involvement in community planning processes, also develops their own local information pages on the portal, localised cards and much more. Dialogue Youth is about getting young people's opinions heard by councils and community planners. It's about having their ideas and aspirations put into practice in their community. It is also seen as a critical part of the Modernising Government Initiative by the Scottish Government, establishing a relationship with young people to sensitise services. There are five key dimensions to Dialogue Youth: - Smartened Cards
- Involving Young People
- Research And Resource Base
- Local Pages On Young Scot Portal
- Personal And Social Education
